"Bright & Light Red - fresh, crisp and super easing drinking"- Koerner Bros. This is a play on the classic Provençal style rosé made with a natty twist. It is dense, wild, and definitely not the typical pink patio crusher. This is the dark side of the force, playing into the more brooding and fleshy styles we see from hotter climates and the Hr. Hyde to the Dr. Jekyll of the other pink bottling. Ripe raspberry, elderflower, fruit punch notes, with a lot of rosemary and plum notes. Fleshy, but still refreshing...

The Grenache was hand harvested on March 3, 2022, and the Syrah was machine harvested on March 10, 2022.

Production Notes

The grapes are cold soaked for 1-5 days and then crushed and de-stemmed with another 1-5 days on the skins. The free run and later pressings are combined, then cold settled on dirt for 24 hours. The wines are fermented in 2000L Slavonian oak Foudre for 4 weeks, utilizing native yeasts. It is then aged in stainless steel tanks for 4 months on fine lees with sterile filtration but no fining.
