A reddish-purple color adds to the wonderfully complex nose of blue fruit, black pepper, earth, green peppercorn, lavender, and iron. The oak influence is subtly in the background, more textural than aromatic. The pallet is intense, with structure and a finish leaning into the herbal and fruity core. The wine is just a baby... but ready with a little time in the open air. This is Julian's favorite vintage of our offerings due to its Burgundian qualities.
